Māori and Pacific CQ Training For Leaders

How to boost your cultural intelligence, lead and engage more effectively across Māori and Pacific cultures in five weeks.

  Enroll in Course

Cultural intelligence is an important skill that all New Zealand leaders need right now. Cultural intelligence or CQ, is the ability to cross boundaries and operate and thrive in multiple cultures.

Māori and Pacific cultural intelligence can impact your effectiveness in negotiating a contract or marketing and branding yourself. It can also make a difference whether you thrive or fail in a cross cultural situation.

If New Zealand was a village of 100 people, 14 of them would be Māori, 11 would be Asian and 7 would be of Pacific descent.

Those populations are set to increase faster than New Zealand’s Pakeha population over the next two decades.

If you’re not actively developing and refining your Māori and Pacific cultural communications approach, you’re leaving money and opportunities on the table.

This programme is for leaders who:

  • Have little to no Māori or Pacific cultural awareness or experience

  • Want to improve their cultural intelligence and cross-cultural leadership to increase productivity and improve engagement

  • Want to cultivate one of the top global management opportunities for this century - cultural intelligence

  • Are willing to adapt their mindsets and behaviour to be a change leader

  • Understand NZ's changing demographics means it's not 'business as usual' anymore
